Central Wyoming College welcomes Culinary & Hospitality Instructor Jenny Joyes

Riverton & Jackson, Wyo.—Central Wyoming College (CWC) is excited to announce the appointment of Jenny Joyes as the new Instructor of Culinary & Hospitality in Fremont County. Joyes officially joined the Business & Industry Division in September, bringing with her a wealth of experience and a deep connection to the college’s successful Culinary program.

Having previously served as a Central Wyoming College concurrent instructor and community advisory member, Joyes is no stranger to CWC. Her dedication and passion for culinary arts have made her a valuable asset to the program.

“We are thrilled to have Jenny join our Hospitality and Culinary department,” says Brittany Yeates, Dean of Business & Industry. “She joins a great program that touches all of our hospitality offerings throughout the state of Wyoming.  We offer degrees, certificates, and noncredit classes to help students hone their knowledge and skills within the industry.”

To excel in Central Wyoming College’s culinary arts and hospitality programs, individuals must possess a passion for cooking, dependability, an aptitude for guest service, and the ability to thrive in a team environment. A positive attitude, excellent physical and mental stamina, and a dedication to quality are also essential qualities for those pursuing a career in this field.

“I am confident that Jenny will be a great asset to our culinary and hospitality program, further enhancing the educational experience for students as we extend the reach of our program beyond its homebase in Jackson,” says Justin Stone, Director of Hospitality and Culinary Programs.  “Her expertise and dedication will undoubtedly inspire the next generation of culinary professionals throughout the region.”

Joyes and her family reside in Lander.

Joyes expressed her excitement about joining Central Wyoming College, stating, “I moved to Wyoming from Wisconsin with my husband about 15 years ago. I have taught in various schools since then, most recently at Lander Valley High School. I am looking forward to starting this next chapter at Central Wyoming College as the culinary and hospitality instructor.”
